There is a big rock about 4 feet in diameter at the waters edge on my beach. About fifty feet from that rock I was having my tea by my little beach fire. A large beaver swam in to about thirty feet from me and whacked his tail on the water as if to protest me being there or something. The beaver then swam away and submerged. later on my way up to the house I noticed marks in the sand as if something had been dragged by that big rock to the water.I had a pile of pine branches about twenty feet away that I had to get rid of so I thought maybe that beaver will help me so I put one branch on the sand by the rock. Sure enough the next morning the branch was gone. I moved the whole pile closer to the rock and within a week the pile was gone. That smart beaver new the game and helped me a lot.
